2016 ASIA PACIFIC OPEN- 5^th and 6^th March @ Longwood!

RCGA Open, warm up event - 4^th March  (Individual)

APO- 5-6^th March (Team and individual)

The Asia Pacific F3K was first held in China in 2014. After submitting a successful bid to host the Event, Australia was granted the right to host the Asia Pacific Open in 2016. Longwood resident and internationally respected pilot, Jon Day was instrumental in securing the event for Australia.

Longwood is a small town about one and a half hours North of Melbourne.  Easy to access from the Hume Fwy, the flying field is large, flat and tree free.

An opportunity to watch international pilots competing not limited to but including Alex Hewson- current world F3K champion, Joe Wurts- past world champion, Carl Strautins- current APO champion along with pilots from Thailand, Taiwan, China, Singpore, New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong.

Spectator entry to the event is free and catering is available.

Gates open 9am and close 5pm.
